George A. King, Chief Investment Officer and Vice Chairman

George A King is Chief Investment Officer and Vice Chairman of Fiducia Investors. Mr. King has more than 25 years of experience in financial markets, executive corporate management and legal and regulatory matters.

Mr. King’s capital markets experience includes more than 325 capital closings aggregating $20+ billion, as well as financial advisory closings aggregating another $8+ billion.  Following the 1996 deregulation of the United States telecommunications industry, Mr. King was a founding board member and then a co-founder of two publicly traded telecommunications companies in 1997 and 2002.

In addition to founding Fiducia Investors, Mr. King is Founder and Chairman of Infrastructure Group, Inc., which provides asset management, FinTech, principal investments and corporate development for United States and international clients; as well as Co-Founder and Chairman of Algorithm Innovation Fund, L.P., a multi-strategy hedge fund that invests in small business loans originated by FinTech platforms using artificial intelligence and data sciences credit analysis and underwriting.

Mr. King began his career with the Wall Street law firm of Mudge Rose Guthrie Alexander & Ferdon and as a Vice President in the New York office of the global investment banking firm of Credit Suisse First Boston.  He co-founded a banking and trading licensed / regulated broker dealer spin-off from CSFB, Cambridge Partners, LLC, and later founded a corporate and project finance advisor.

He served in various vice chairman, president and chief financial officer roles from startup through IPO and eventual sale of the companies after attaining levels of $144 million and $65 million in annual recurring revenue.  Mr. King is a 2013 founding board member of a leading United States wireless telecom which is one of the leading innovative wireless companies in the United States and has all four of the major mobile companies as core clients, along with corporations and governments nationally.

Mr. King’s board experience includes chairman, vice chairman, director and audit committee chair of public and private firms in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom, as well as universities in the United States and the United Kingdom.  Mr. King holds an A.B. (cum laude) from Colgate University and a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Fordham Urban Law Journal.

He is the author of two books and a law review article on securities law and Federal tax law applied to United States capital markets transactions.  His geographic focus includes the Americas, Europe, Middle East (GCC), and Asia.
